He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cline and Margaret "Nellie" Cline (Kenney); his wife Dixie (Loretta); and his son Tom. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Mary Wilcox, Linda Bird, John Wilcox (Cynthia) and Cliff Wilcox; his daughter-in-law Vivian Wilcox; his niece Beth Ann Packard (David); his daughter Cindy Friesen; and his grandsons, Jimmy Joe and Bobby Lee Friesen. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
