It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Hickey (Cameron, Missouri), born in Pratt, Kansas, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Rose Hickey and Joseph Sevier Hickey; his brothers, Michael Patrick Hickey, Joseph Nelson Hickey and William Sevier Hickey; and his nephew Gus Rau Meyer, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Ben Hickey; his sisters, Susan Lindahl (Paul) and Cheryl Meyer (Gus); his nephews, Nels Lindahl (Joni Jorgensen), John Paul, Kaylee Rose and Jason Meyer; his niece Jenifer Lindahl Boles (Matt); and his stepmother Beverly Hickey Appelhans. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to USD 438 Skyline Schools Foundation of Pratt, Kansas, or a charity of your choice in care of Larrison Mortuary.
