She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Hamilton and Alva Lena Cooper Hamilton; her children, Mary Payton of Cameron, MO, Richard McCleery of Lawrence, Robert McCleery of Lawrence and Michael McCleery of Eudora; and her siblings, Mary Dollison, Irene Hamilton and Jimmy Dale Hamilton. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, sent in care of the funeral home.
