He was predeceased by: his parents, George Waisner and Effie Waisner (Balke); and his wife Edith Waisner (Knox). He is survived by: his daughter Donna Edwards (Barry); his granddaughters, Kimberly Jones (Mike) and Jennifer Watts (Brett); his great grandchildren, Caleb Watts (Devin), Dalton Watts, Evan Jones and Chase Jones; his nephew Ted Knox Sr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ted Knox Jr. (Emily) and Tami Lewis (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Reece, Liam, Braxton, Gabe, Jude and Rhen.
