He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ira and Lida Mae Sayre (Harmon); his brother Lee; and his daughter Vickie Lynn Hartwig. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Helen; his children, Terrance Dean Oertwig (Cherry) of Winnsboro, TX, Lucinda (Travis Gibson) of Liberty, MO. and Melinda (Mark Hoover) of Maryville, MO; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Daniels, Quinn Oertwig, Christy Steele-Schouten, Maycee Hoover, Trey Hoover, Gracyn Hoover, Alana Eggleston, Dylan Gibson and Connor Gibson. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Three Rivers Hospice, St. Joseph MO.
