He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Zonnell Thompson (Swartz); his son Jason Thompson; and his brothers, Jimmy and Eddie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Ola Draves; his children, Tammy Thompson, Carrie Ramey (Brian) and Matthew Thompson (Ellen); and his daughter-in-law MeChelle Thompson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ola Thompson to be given to a charity of her choice in memory of Donald.
