He was predeceased by: his father Allen Douglas Smith (Doug). He is survived by: his mother Connie Kaye Smith (Jones); his daughter Cassie Burkhart (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Ashlynn and Nash.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Poland-Thompson Chapel (222 W 3rd St, Cameron, MO 64429).
