With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darrell Marion Prothero of Cameron, Missouri, born in Jamesport, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Darrell left this world on March 2, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Darrell shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Darrell farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Oren; and his siblings, Don, Delbert, Dave and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his son Jim Prothero (Dana Michelle); his grandson Bryce Prothero of Cameron, Missouri; and his children, Richard Anson, Frances Williams and Cindy Cook (Donnie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be given in ℅ the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
