He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clayton and Myrtle Clayton (Stockbauer); and his daughter Tracy Knuckles. He is survived by: his wife Verlin Clayton; his sisters-in-law, Jean Miles of Springfield and Marion B. (Joe Calvin Tuckfield) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and his adoptive daughter Brenda (Mike Fink) of Wamego, Kansas.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
