He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lay and Lillian Davis Lay. He is survived by: his wife Theresa McIntyre; his siblings, Jeff Brown (Nancy) of Illinois, Walt Brown (Ivy) of Tennessee, Marty Brown (Debbie) of California and Emma Overton of Arkansas; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Martin (Larry) and Cindy Tucker (Jim); and his stepchildren, Lisa Finnell and Doug Butts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
