She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Roy and Nellie Alvera McVeigh (Carlson); her husband Ed Simmons; and her siblings, Russell McVeigh, Elbert McVeigh, Paul McVeigh, Philip McVeigh, Helen Elliott, Shirley Brown and Erma Morgan.
She is survived by: her daughter Marianne (John Van Horn); her stepchildren, George (Jan Simmons), Jean (Ed Butler) and Mary Ann (Rick Kuntz); and her granddaughter Stephanie Gellerman. She is also survived by many friends and other family members.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church and left at the church the day of the service.
