He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rogers and Annabell Rogers (Green); his wife Sharon L. Rogers; and his siblings, Ronnie Rogers, Sharon Rogers, Lois Rogers, Jakie Rogers and Brenda Rogers.

He is survived by: his daughter Deanna Landon (Jason); his grandchildren, Brittany and TJ Shoemaker; his great grandchildren, Kaleb Kaiser, Mia Dukes, Kylie Shoemaker and River Shoemaker; and his siblings, Johnny Rogers (Cee), Larry Rogers (Misty), Janie Wood (Mackie) and Ella Rogers Bradford. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
