He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee Bruns-Erwin and Delores Ann VanGorkom; his wife Karen Erwin; his brother Ronald Erwin; and his sister-in-law Emma Erwin.
He is survived by: his son Jeremy Erwin of Denver, Colorado; his siblings, Yvonne Erwin-Bowen (Terry) of Kansas City, Tonya Moore-Clemens (Harold) of Belton, Missouri, E. W. "Dub" Erwin of Gladstone and Rod Erwin (Mary) of Kansas City, Missouri; his aunt Georgene Capps of Camdenton, Missouri; and his uncle Lonnie Ragain of Camdenton, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
