She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Brassfield (Eldridge); and her siblings, Janice Welcher, Barbara Halloway and Earl Brassfield, Jr.. She is survived by: her father Earl J. Brassfield; her husband Herb Ponath, Jr.; her children, Christina, Herbert and Angel; her children-in-law, Jeff, Russell Martin and Nikki; her grandchildren, Brooklynn, Jaxstin, Paisley and Landyn Martin; and her brother Kenneth Brassfield.
