He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Godfrey and Madeline Heather Godfrey; his wife Cynthia Shoemate; and his siblings, John Godfrey, Madenia Page and Bertha Leuty.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Godfrey of Lee's Summit, Missouri; his granddaughter Kirsten Olivarez; his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Franco, Adriano and Mateo; and his brothers, Charles Godfrey and Roger Godfrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
