He was predeceased by: his father Jess "Ike" Benjamin (Ike); his brothers, Jay Kirkendall, James Kirkendall and Kirk Kirkendall; and his pet Chip.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Ellen Kirkendall (Walpole) of Sloan, Iowa; his wife Bonnie Kirkendall; his daughters, Jessica Kirkendall of Akron, Rebecca Deibler (Billy) of Omaha and Kennedy Kirkendall of Camdenton, Missiouri; his grandchildren, Emma Martinac, Sophia Martinac, Gianna Greenleaf, Brynlee Deibler and Bennett Deibler; his sister Candace Maynard; his sisters-in-law, Karen Kirkendall, Linda Kirkendall and Sue Kirkendall; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
