With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda (Lebanon) E. True (Camdenton, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024 at the age of 71. As we bid Brenda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Brenda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melford Chapman and Anna Whitworth Chapman; her son Grant Blacksmith; and her siblings, Linda Chapman and Larry Chapman.
She is survived by: her husband Michael True; her children, Tonya Beaty of Kirksville, Stephanie Blacksmith of Florida and Steven True of Indiana; her sister Sandy Ammons; and her nephew Lance Boardman. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
