It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Gene Morrill of Camdenton, Missouri, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee and Alice Lee (Moyer); her siblings, Lyda Schultz, Verda, Lana Stevens, Becky Wooton, Wanda Morris, Beverly McClellan, Lyle, John, Robert and Joe Lee; her sons, James Bennett VanFleet, III and Ronnie Dean VanFleet; and her grandson Jacob VanFleet.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Evans of Camdenton, MO, Gregory VanFleet of Lenexa, KS and Karen Dengel (Tim) of Olathe, KS; and her grandchildren, J. B., Josh, Zachary, Brandi, Natalie, Brian and Kevin. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercer Funeral Home (810 Broadway St, Valley Falls, KS 66088). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Valley Falls Cemetery (1001 19th St, Valley Falls, KS 66088).
