He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover C. Phillips and Dora Ester Phillips (Travillion); and his siblings, Ralph A. Phillips (Peanut), James Phillips, Charles Phillips, John W. Phillips (Dub), Dessie M. Phillips, Margaret Lancy, Betty Whittle (Linebaugh), France Tutor, Mable Haller, Zella Mae and Virginia Carter.
He is survived by: his sister Becky Campbell of Pruitt, AR; his children, Amy Hankins and Emmitt Elliott; and his grandson Garrett Hankins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at the Dockery Cemetery (15049 Dockery Rd, Richmond, MO 64085).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
