She was predeceased by: her parents, John Young and Maggie Young; and her great grandchildren, Micah Lee Stout and Liberty Jo Stout. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Garrett; her children, Kristian Speck (Glen) and Brandon Garrett (Diane); her grandchildren, Ross Stout (Shelley), Caleb Speck, Shelby Speck, Chloe Duncan (Kyle) and Brandi Garrett; her great grandchildren, London and Jeffrey Stout; and her siblings, Ramie Hopwood of Doniphan, Brenda Colbert of Marlow, OK and Sedonia Young of Coos Bay, OR..
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel (606 Walnut St, Doniphan, MO 63935). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Safe Haven Community Church.
