She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Traub and Ruth G. Traub; her brother Robert T. Traub; and her son Daniel J. Muckenthaler. She is survived by: her sisters, Sherrill Blach (Millard) of Omaha, NE, Sharon Augello (Tony) of Westerville, OH and Sylvia Smith (Greg) of Morrison, CO; her children, Cynthia Clark of Austin, Laura Stegeman (Brian) of Lee's Summit, MO and Greg Muckenthaler (Annette) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Stephen Clark (Rachel), Sarah Day (Paul), Shawn Clark (Amanda), Scott Clark (Christen), Anna Kaufman (Jason), Melissa Muckenthaler, Lauren Muckenthaler and Michelle Roth (Mason); and her great grandchildren, Alexandre Day, Annabelle Clark, Ethan Clark, Lydia Clark and Keaton Kennedy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Little Sisters of the Poor in Kansas City, Missouri, honoring the 16 years of care and companionship they provided Shirley.
