He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis "Red" McCollum and Evelyn Clark McCollum Davis; and his brother Ronnie McCollum. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean McCollum; his stepdaughter Dawn; his stepgrandchildren, Jakoby and Brooklynn; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Linda McCollum; his sister Ervina; and his brother-in-law Jim Kahler. He is also survived by three nieces and a nephew.
