With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Philip O. Zatlin of California, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Zatlin (Orenstein) and George Zatlin; and his sister Barbara (Jackson). He is survived by: his wife Carole Zatlin (Edelman); and his children, Dayle Zatlin (Joel Blumenthal) of Green Island, N. Y., Caren Forister Smith (Steve Smith) of The Woodlands, Texas and Stuart Zatlin (Suzanne Peterson) of St. Louis. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
After turning over company management to his son, Stuart, he continued to work there until the COVID pandemic in 2020, retiring at age 94.
