It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenora Fay Delameter of California, Missouri, born in Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband H. A. Delameter; her daughter Leona Joyce; her parents, Ira Ellis Jr. and Vernal Ellis (Chapman); her siblings, Dorothy, Wilbur Ira, Harold and Delbert Ellis; and her daughters-in-law, Marilyn Allen and Carol Huff.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Ellis Delameter (Mary Lou Lambert) and Marvin Russell Delameter (Corliss Delameter); her grandchildren, Trent Allen Delameter of Cleveland, SC, Scott Delameter of Indio, CA and Jeanette Joyce of Clarkson, WA; and her brothers, Elwood, Rex and Doyle Ellis. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
