Joan Hicks Creighton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 91, Joan Hicks Creighton of California, Missouri, born in Valley Station, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Euthelda "Tola" Hicks and Raymond "Si" Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Neal Creighton; and her children, Neal Jr., Linda and Lisa. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
While living in Chicago from 1986 to 2000, Joan was the curator of the Robert R. McCormick Museum and Library and Neal ran the McCormick Foundation which focused on charitable giving throughout the United States.
