It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Jay Schlansky of California, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Siril Schlansky and Seymour Schlansky. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Rebecca Rubin-Schlansky (Mike Vredenburgh) and Hannah Rubin-Schlansky (Rabbi Andrew Terkel); his grandchildren, Ada, Celia Vredenburgh, Avi and Micah Terkel; his brothers, Arnold (Bonnie) of Florida and Steve (Mindy) of St. Louis; and his siblings-in-law, Amy Rubin Schottland (Paul Schottland) of New Jersey and Dr. David Rubin of New York. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
