He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Lorenscheit and Elly Lorenscheit; his wife Wilma; his siblings, Dieter Lorenscheit and Ursula Neumann; and his sister-in-law Val Lorenscheit.

He is survived by: his children, Don Lorenscheit (Janet) and Connie Foster (Kevin); his grandchildren, Del Crites (Derek), Lauren Foster (Adam Williams), Keri Dumey (Matt), Dustin Lorenscheit (Katie Schell) and Danielle Lorenscheit (Patrick Souders); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Skyler, Bella, Madison and Dylan; his brother Werner Lorenscheit; and his friend Carol Butler.
