She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Louis Joseph Strobel and Estella Marie Strobel (Engelbrecht); her brother Harold Strobel; her parents-in-law, Luther and Nellie Cook (Wyss); and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence, Irma, John Cook, Elwood, Anna Cook, Stanley Cook and Nelson Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Winston Cook; her children, Richard Cook Jr. (Dawn) of Centertown, Kenneth Cook (Deanna) of California, Brad Cook (Lori) of California and Lois McCarty (Victor) of California; her sisters-in-law, Jane Renfro, Henrietta Cook and LaVerne Cook; and her grandchildren, Rich Cook (April), Alexis Cook, Tawnia Flora (Nathan), Kara Curb (Lance), Alan Cook (Kristen), Alana Rex (Jeff), Gretchen McCarty, Jonathan McCarty and Micah McCarty (Michelle). She is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lebanon Baptist Church (31547 McGirk Ave, California, MO 65018). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Old Lebanon Cemetery Association or the local Gideon's.
