As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Lowrance and Maude Lowrance; his wife Margaret Andrews (Andrews); and his sons, Timothy and Byron.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron (Kim), Karin (McIntosh) and Sharon. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters and 3 grandsons.
Most notably M.Sgt. Lowrance was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal for outstanding contributions to the refugee evacuations out of Vietnam.
