It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Fletcher of Calhoun, Missouri, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elsea and Albertina Elsea (Opfer); her husband John Allen; her brother Marvin Elsea; her grandson Nicholas; and her great grandchild Ava Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Allen (Mary) of Calhoun, Richard Allen of Calhoun, Kathryn Ruble of Mexico, MO, David Allen of Jericho Springs, MO, Linda Allen (Russel Adams) of Green Ridge, MO, LeeAnn Long (Brian) of Raymore, MO and Anita Slaughter (Scott) of Houstonia, MO; and her grandchildren, Bryan, Brett, Crystal, John, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Cody, Lauryn, Jonathon, Matthew, Gage, Jayden, Danielle and Justina.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Velma Fletcher Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
