He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Ladonna Watkins Vest (Chuck), Terry Watkins (Janice Wiegand), Denise Watkins Boessen (Mike) and Tracy Watkins (Miranda Reger); his grandchildren, Matt Vest, Pete Vest, Josh Watkins, Jolene Watkins, Jason Watkins, Jordan Watkins, Ben Watkins, Gabe Boessen and Braxton High; his stepdaughter Lorraine Kirkendoll (family: Joyce Crawford, Mary, Toast); and also, Nadine Baker and Doris Ferritor.
