Howerton; his stepdaughter Katrina Scharpman; his brother Walter; his sister-in-law Catherine Howerton; his brothers, Foy and Jerry Howerton; his nephew Wally Howerton; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Avis Larason; his brother-in-law Wilbur Larason; and his nephew-in-law Kenneth Gene Larason.
He is survived by: his wife Illia Larason Lyon; his children, John Wayne Howerton of Dallas, Texas. and Paula Degrace (Tom) of Port St; his son-in-law Keith Scharpman of Fort Madison, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Allison Gilmore (Chris) of Georgia and Tristan; his siblings, William (Yvonne), Patricia Walker and Barbara Mathis (Don); and his sister-in-law Ruth Larason of Princeton, MO..
The family will receive friends after the service at Bethel Church, Cainsville, MO where social distancing will be observed and masks are recommended.
