He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Ashley and Violet Ashley (Robinson); his former wife Dorothy "Dottie" Ashley; and his daughter Maria Elena Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Lenny Ashley (Westbrook) of Cadet, Missouri; his sons, Virgil Ashley (Dana) of Park Hills and Torry Ashley (Susan) of Park Hills, Missouri; his grandchildren, Virgil (Katie), Hannah, Jenna, Nola, Justin (Amber), Lacey, Josh and Alex (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Kolten, Maci, Brentley, Blakely, Addy, Mila, Shane and Ava; and his niece Linda Voth. He is also survived by many other relatives and special friends.
