She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Akers and Iza Akers (Sellers); her husband Jesse "Tut" Pickett; her boyfriend Paul Kay; and her siblings, Jimmy Akers, Burley Akers, Alta Gregory and Wanda Kay.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse "Scrapper" Pickett Jr. (Paulette), Rhonda Davis (Greg), Joey Pickett, Tim Pickett and Glenda Thompson; her grandchildren, Tasha, Trenton, Tory, Jared, Jennifer, Dina, Trina, Joey, Sarah, Teah, Cristen, Timothy, Robbie, Jeffrey, Jay and Brandi; her sister Theresa "Cookie" Akers; and her uncles, Dick and Arlie. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jesus Is the Answer Church (11440 Cannon Mines Rd, Cadet, MO 63630). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
