He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Young and Charlotte Young; his siblings, Gary Young, James "Hal" Young and Celeste Clingin; and his son-in-law Carl Hellmann.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Young of Washington; his children, Larry (Angie) of Kentucky, Charles of Washington and Shari (Larry Klekamp) of Washington; his sisters, Rosalyn Smith (Laurie) of O'Fallon and Deann Deimeke of St. Ann; his grandchildren, Andrew Klekamp (Michelle), Mackenzie Klekamp, Mackayla Hillermann (Jake), Nikole Klekamp, Jennifer Belloir (Roy) and Chris Young; and his great grandchildren, Karleigh Klekamp, Hudson Klekamp, Ethan Reed and Tesa Reed.
