He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Hensley and Glenda Hensley (Hovey); his wife Kathy Marie DeGroot; his sons, Nathan (Ashley) of Rogersville, MO, Dustin (Britney) of Ozark, MO and Ryan (Jennifer) of West Plains, MO; his grandchildren, Randy, Riley, Kirklyn, Kynidi, Hayden, Hudson, Kalista, Carson, Keaton, Adisen, Aydan and Isaiah; his siblings, Gayla Thompson (Glenn) of Republic, MO, Kevin (Valerie) of Cabool and Kelly (Missy) of Cabool; his cousins, Keith Hovey (Brenda), Bruce Hovey (Kathy) and Mark Hovey; and also Glenda. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many long time friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cabool First Baptist Church (801 Ozark St, Cabool, MO 65689).
