He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Ayres; his parents, Willard Ayres and Mary Ayres; and his brother Abe Ayres. He is survived by: his children, Michael Ayres (Ruby Ayres), Sheila Goben and Shelia (Chris Goben); his siblings, Kenny (Janet Ayers) and Retha (Junior Bateman); his grandchildren, Renee, Drew, Ashlee, Patrick and Natasha; and his great grandchildren, Tori, Aydyn, Jamie, Metias, Remington and Silas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home East. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
