She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon McCart and Hazel McCart (Morgan); her husband Bill; her brothers, Emmett and Junior McCart; her grandson Aaron Michael Smart; and her great grandchild Ian Daniel Smart.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Máiréad Ryan-Anderson) and Kathleen Smart (Melvin); her grandsons, Nathan Smart (Clarissa), Dr. Ciárán and Diarmait Ryan-Anderson; her great grandchildren, Matthew Smart (Tonya Nicolosi) and Nicole Smart; and her sisters, Virginia Anderson and Mary Evelyn Cauldwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
