He was predeceased by: his uncle Aaron Smart; his grandmother Melissa Vonallmen; his great-grandparents, W. E. Anderson (Tex) of Marion Smart, W. W., Olive Rose Wiederaenders, Vernie and Virginia Vonallmen; and his great-uncles, James Vonallmen and Mike Wiederaenders.
He is survived by: his parents, Nathan Smart and Clarissa Smart (Vonallmen) of Cabool; his sister Nicole Smart of Payson, IL; his grandparents, Melvin, Kathleen Smart of Willow Springs and Stephine Vonallmen of Cabool; his great-grandparent Loretta Anderson of Cabool; his uncles, Jason (Juilet Vonallmen), Nathaniel (Elizabeth Vonallmen), Adam Vonallmen and Jacob Vonallmen (Michael); his aunt Emily Brawn; and his cousins, Allison Vonallmen, Brett, Katie Vonallmen, Forest Swisher, Natalie Swisher, Madison Vonallmen, Max Vonallmen, Josh Haws, Heidi Vonallmen, Michael Haws, Lillian Haws, Giedion Haws and Lissa Brawn. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
