He was predeceased by: his parents, John Louis and Thelma Boykin (Mayberry); and his brother Junior Boykin. He is survived by: his wife Lois Boykin; his sons, Michael, Sandy Boykin (Smith) of Norwood and Mark Boykin of Sparta; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Megan Boykin of Nixa, Lacy, Shannon Holt of Sparta, Kyle, Monica Sanders (Lovan) of Willow Springs, John and Heather Boykin of West Plains; his brother Phillip (Judy Boykin); and his sister-in-law Celah Boykin of Mountain Grove, Missouri.. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
