It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva B. Coats (Cabool, Missouri), who passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Jakey, Leroy and George; her sisters-in-law, Lorene and Irene; her grandson Andy Venter; and her stepgranddaughter Jana Barkley.
She is survived by: her husbands, Jim and James A. Coats; her children, Janet Barkley (Larry), Jimmie Coats (Novalee) of Mountain Grove, MO, Mike Coats (Daisy) of Licking, MO, Ruth Southards (Ed) of Pacific, MO, Marjorie Martuch (Tom) of Augusta, MI, Tom Coats (Karen) of Mountain Grove, MO and Rita Bradshaw of Mountain Grove, MO; her grandchildren, Eric Venter (Milinda), Jill Venter (Soren Petersen), Tim Southards (Shari), Steve Southards (Erin), Ben Southards, Anna Martuch, Joe Martuch, Lindsay Nelson (Craig), Adam Coats (Ashley) and Whitney Davis (Louis); her stepgrandchildren, Jeff Barkley (Jo-An), Mike Radford (Diana), Dan Radford (Gloria), Patsy Dunlap (Keith) and Darren Radford (Ellen); her grandchild Randi Milburn; her daughters, Staci Marah Owens and Lori Marah Jones; and her brothers, Kenneth Beltz (Viola) and John Beltz (Jeannie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
