He was predeceased by: his parents, Verda Smith and Golda Smith (Weaver); his wife Janie Perry; his sisters, Lorene Brickell, Evelyn Shaw, Dorothy Norton and Lavond Simpson; his nieces and nephews, Vernon Brickell, David Simpson, Laura Shaw and Lavonne Smith; his great-niece Ember Lorraine Cook; and his great-nephews, David French and Tim Noel.
He is survived by: his sister Marge Ragsdale of Marshfield; and his brother-in-law Wayne Simpson of Mtn. He is also survived by the many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fairview Cemetery c/o the funeral home.
