She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Brickles Sr. and Violet Cook; and her brother David. She is survived by: her close friend Michael Puckett; her children, JoAnna Johnson, Katherine Hutsell, Roy Mathews Jr. and Andrew Mathews; and her siblings, Sissy, Tina, Tammy, Sue, Sonya, Jerry, Delbert Jr., Dean, Ray, Dana and Lee. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Song selections were "Three Wooden Crosses", "Don't Worry Be Happy", "You Raise Me Up', and "Angel". The family has selected Shriners Hospitals for Children for memorial contributions in care of the funeral home.
