She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rust and Fannie Rust (Bennett); her husband Mert Hood, Jr.; and her brothers, Gerald and Don.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Pat) of Columbia, Jerry (Anita) of Cabool and Peggy (Harold) of Joplin; her siblings-in-law, Lynn Rust of Cabool, Rick Hood (Pat) of Springfield and Emmett Hood (Pat); and her great grandchildren, Jon, Melinda, Tyler, Brayden, Jackson Hood of O'Fallon, Sarah, Esteban, Greg, Eliana, Camila Pedrazas of Columbia, Daniel, Emily, Erin, Ellie Hood of Springfield, Amy, Collin, Peyton, Carolynn, Blakely Lyerla of Forsyth, Curt, Kelli, Julia, Adelyn Hood of Fenton, Phil, Lissa, Hallie, Anna, Camryn Spieckermann of Wichita, KS, Adam, Renee, Suzanne, Eliza Spieckermann of Valencia, CA, Sally Spieckermann of Columbia and Katie Spieckermann of Joplin. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and dear friends.
