Marilyn Vidal Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 93, Marilyn Vidal of Butler, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dean and Ruby Kathleen Mullis Summers; her former husband Harry Jackson; her husband Joseph Vidal; and her close friend L. W..

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Platt (Jim) of Archie, Melody Kemper of Kansas City, Peggy Jackson of Warsaw, Dawn Shour of St. Joseph, Missouri, Harry Jackson of Kansas City and Clinton Jackson of Overland Park, Kansas; and her sister Peggy Petty of Butler, Missouri. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (1301 N Orange St, Butler, MO 64730). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
