The memory of Karen Gardner of Butler, Missouri, who passed away on October 13, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford "Bum" Smith and Louise Burke Smith. She is survived by: her pet Buster; her daughters, Lora Gustin (Hugh) of Butler, MO and Nancy Simons (Landon); her grandchildren, Sydney Cullison, Kinsey Simons, Hayes Gustin, Caden Gustin and Trey Gustin (Taylor); her great grandchildren, RaeLynn and Lorynn Gustin; her sisters, Martina Gilmore (Walter) and Anita Smith; her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Cox (Jeff), Cordell, Jake, Burke, Reid and Curtis Gilmore (Brenda); her great-nephews, Brayden and Luke; her great-niece Olivia; and also, Adelyn Knipp, Zephaniah Smith (Haylee), Casinda Smith of Adrian, MO. and Jim Smith of Butler.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Smith Cemetery (1742 NE County Road 9503, Butler, MO 64730).
