He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil F. Skaggs and Geraldine Berry Skaggs; and his siblings, Jerry, Gene, Chuck Skaggs, Betty Dubray and Connie Farrel.
He is survived by: his children, Deneice Garland (Donna) of Bowie, Allen Skaggs (Pam) of Butler, Missouri and Ronda Thomas (James) of Butler, Missouri; and his siblings, Berry Skaggs (Euleta) of Raymore, Missouri, Sue Shaffer (Dean) of Lincoln and Rene Crow of Butler, Missouri.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
