He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine Batye Roberts and Hosie Edward Roberts Sr.; his stepfather Otto Taggart; his brother Dean Roberts; and his nephew Preston Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Roberts of Boonville; his sons, Timothy Edward Roberts (Jennifer) of Columbia and John Wesley Roberts (Belinda) of Mexico; his stepgranddaughter Terri Benskin (Garrett); his great grandchild Aeden Benskin; his stepgranddaughter Tonya McCord (Mike); his great grandchildren, Kiersten, Tucker and Wyatt; his grandchildren, Trynton, Dalton, Karson and Payton Roberts; his siblings, Tommy Taggert of Columbia, Judy Brown (Billy) of Hallsville, Pam Nichols of Columbia and Cathy Jose of Ashland; and his sister-in-law Judy Roberts.
