He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Helvey and Iva Lucille Helvey (Gilmore); his son Robert Eugene Helvey; and his siblings, James Rodney Helvey and Joyce Bowen.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Jean Helvey of Bunker; his children, William Dwayne Helvey of Bunker and Leann Marie Suhling of Bunker; his grandchildren, Alexandria Roach (Dylan), Taylor, Wade, Gavin, Riley, Savannah, Bryson, Jackson, Aubrey and Robbie; his great grandchildren, Mia, Nikio, Kentley, Luka and Liam; his niece Carla Green; and his nephews, Bradley Farmer, Jerry Case and Tom Case. He is also survived by his family and friends.
