He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Gott and Opal Gott; his parents-in-law, Floyd and Dorothy Wommack; his sister Priscilla Gott; his son Bryan Gott; his granddaughter Mindy Gott; his great grandchild Jeremiah Forrest; and his brother-in-law Bob Wommack.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Wommack; his children, Richard Gott (Becky), Rex Gott (Anita), Randy Gott (Becky) and Teresa Owens (Mike); his sister-in-law Sara Wommack; and his aunt Sylvia Snodgrass. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
